Stuffie

“Stuffie” is the affectionate little-community word for a plushie or stuffed animal. For many littles it’s a cherished comfort object — something to hold, talk to and feel safe with — and it can be a powerful, gentle cue into little space.

More than a toy

A stuffie often becomes a genuine source of comfort and security, the way a childhood comfort object once was. Holding one can settle anxiety and signal safety to your nervous system — no shame in that at all.

Everyone’s stuffie is theirs

Some littles have one special stuffie; others a whole cuddle pile. There’s no right number and no “too old.” Comfort is comfort.
