CGL

Caregiver/Little · DDLG · MDLB

CGL stands for Caregiver/Little — a consensual dynamic where one partner takes a nurturing, guiding role and the other settles into a younger, cared-for headspace. It’s the umbrella that acronyms like DDLG (Daddy Dom/Little Girl) and MDLB (Mommy Dom/Little Boy) all live under.

CGL, DDLG, MDLB — what’s the difference?

CGL is the gender-neutral umbrella. DDLG, MDLB, MDLG and DDLB just specify the caregiver (Daddy or Mommy) and the little. CGLRE highlights the non-sexual, age-regression and comfort side. Same warm idea, different labels.

Is “Daddy” or “Mommy” about family?

No. They’re role titles for a caring, guiding partner — about the dynamic, not real family. Many people prefer the neutral “Caregiver.” Whatever word feels right to you is the right one.

How it relates to ABDL

CGL describes the relationship (caregiver ↔ little); ABDL leans toward the little/baby and diaper elements themselves. They overlap for many people and stand alone for others — all valid.

Common questions

Is CGL always sexual?

No. It spans entirely non-sexual comfort and age regression through to including intimacy. Both ends are valid.

Do I have to pick an exact acronym?

Not at all. Noticing whether you lean nurturing or nurtured is enough to find compatible people.
